Private Lesson Policies
The following terms and conditions apply to my Capital Prep, Grace Acadmey, and Home Studios. These conditions constitute the "fine print". Please do read carefully and ask any questions/address any concerns (my email address is aaronkrerowicz@gmail.com) before enrolling in lessons. By submitting the sign-up forms, you indicate that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms. A hard copy of these terms will be granted upon request.
Student Expectations
Lessons will occur weekly. Please attend regularly. Students are expected to practice consistently at home and come to each lesson prepared. The amount of practicing will vary greatly depending on the level of the student, but beginning students should spend on a minimum of 20 minutes each day. A small amount of practice on a daily basis will prove far more beneficial than extended practice once a week. Parents of elementary-aged students should regularly assist and supervise practicing. All parents are welcomed to observe lessons so they may better assist the learning process.
Scheduling
I am available to teach at Capital Prep during the following times:
Mondays: 2:45-3:15 (during enrichment), after 4:30
Tuesdays:: 3:45-4:15, after 5:30
Wednesdays: after 4:45
Thursday: after 3:15
Fridays: after 2:00
My home studio is available most other times. Please contact me for scheduling details for either studio.
Payment
The cost of music lessons is $18/30-minutes, $27/45-minutes, $36/60-minutes. All payments must be delivered monthly and in advance. Under no circumstances will lessons be taught prior to received payment. Cash will be accepted, however personal checks are preferred. Please remit checks to Aaron Krerowicz.
Please be aware that lesson costs are substantially less than what most other music stores and schools charge. This is because of (a) Capital Prep's dedication to the arts: the rate they charge me to use their facilities is low, which means I in turn charge less; and (b) by teaching from home, I avoid the expense of a studio fee all together, both of which ultimately make lessons more affordable for students.
